The centre piece of today’s stylization is the coat, whose isomorphic pattern is ‘David Jones’ famous company logo. The iconic black and white houndstooth pattern is one of the most famous corporation logos in Australia. The retail giant offers men’s, women’s and children’s clothing lines, in particular pitched at customers seeking high quality products, styles and customer service. Apart from an extensive collection of European labels, the stores also offer a wide range of products from Australian designers. David Jones’ counterpart in the polish clothing market is the retailer ‘Royal Collection’.

David Jones was founded in 1838 by David Jones a Welsh immigrant. This high-end Australian department store chain is claimed to be the oldest continuously operating department store in the world still trading under its original name. David Jones' branding, a black on white houndstooth pattern - is one of the most recognised corporate identities in Australia. The iconic design was the result of a 1967 rebranding exercise by Charles Lloyed Jones Jr., who desired that the store would be so well known by the design as to not require the use of the name on the packing. It was inspired allegedly from the houndstooth design on a Miss Dior  perfume bottle of his mother's, Hannah Jones.

Due to the popularity of this theme in recent times, it seemed obvious to mention this interesting fact when presenting to you my stylization. In my opinion the coat in combination with the high waist leather PU pants and a classic white shirt looks both elegant and sexy!

Głównym elementem dzisiejszej stylizacji jest płaszcz, którego deseń jest izomorficzny ze słynnym już znakiem firmowym  David Jones.  Biało czarny "houndstooth"  wzór - to jeden z najbardziej uznanych tożsamości korporacyjnych w Australii. Sieć handlowa, oferująca odzież damską, męską, młodzieżową, która przede wszystkim jest skierowana do klientów poszukujących wysokiej jakości produktów, stylu i profesjonalnej obsługi. Poza kolekcjami największych europejskich producentów, sklepy oferują także szeroki asortyment produktów australijskich. Odpowiednikiem David Jones na rynku odzieżowym w Polsce  jest sklep Royal Collection.

David Jones został założony w 1838 roku przez Davida Jonesa, walijskiego imigranta i jest uważany za najstarszy dom towarowy, stale działający pod oryginalną nazwą . Kultowy projekt powstał w 1967 roku przez Charles'a Lloyd Jones Jr, który pragnął stworzyć znak, który nie będzie wymagać nazwy na opakowaniu. Rzekomo inspirował się on projektem "houndstooth" na butelce perfum Diora jego matki, Hannah Jones.

Ze względu na popularność tego motywu ostatnimi czasami, wydało mi się oczywiste uwzględnienie tej ciekawostki ukazując Wam swoją stylizację. Wydaję mi się że płaszcz w połączeniu ze skórzanymi PU spodniami z wysokim stanem i klasyczną białą koszulą – wygląda elegancko i seksownie.
